Add new life to steak and potatoes.

Ginger beef with sweet potato salad is a yummy, fresh combo for a typically winter dish. Good with a quick-seared pan-fried steak for those of us in wee apartments but grilled is always better. Oohh, and try grilling the sweet potatoes too.

1 1/2 lb steak
2 tbsp grated ginger
2 tbsp olive oil
Pepper
Marinade at least 30min.

1 1/2 lb sweet potato
Toss with olive oil, salt and pepper. Bake 350F until softish.

Dressing:
1/3 cup sweet chili sauce
2 tsp grated ginger
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp olive oil

Start on a bed of arugula, layer the potato salad and add steak sliced on top or on its own. Drizzle dressing over top.
